The Five CRITICAL Things to Do For Your Health and Weight Loss

Often, people ask me which diet, food program, exercise program, and book I think is the best one to improve my health, fitness, or weight loss. I try to answer them all.

The best way to do it isn’t there. There isn’t the best book, and there isn’t a right or wrong way to do it.

The 5 Critical things you must do to achieve your health are these.

  1. Continue to learn about health, fitness, nutrition, and weight loss from a wide variety of sources

Start taking action right away and start learning about health. Then, very quickly, start putting what you learn into action. It might not work for you, but it might work for someone else. You have to look at many different things to find what works for you, learn more, and never accept one thing as the best for your health. Keep reading, keep learning, keep what works for you and toss what doesn’t. Keep what works and get rid of what doesn’t.

“Knowledge alone is not power,” but “knowledge used is power!”

There are some specific things to keep in mind, like that the body runs on food, and if you give it the best quality food in any way possible, you’re likely to get good results in general. When feasible, eat natural, organic, and free of trans fats to get the most nutrition.

  1. Find a mentor.

It dawned on me at a very young age that if we can look up to someone who has already been there and done that and come out on top, we can “cut to the chase” and figure out what works for our health and weight loss faster.

Find a mentor, a person who can help you with the things you want to do. Look for someone who has been there and knows what you’re going through. They should look like them. Get in touch with them to find out what worked and what didn’t. If you do what works and don’t do what doesn’t, you can save yourself a lot of time and work.

  1. Apply the knowledge you learn about health daily

You now have to do something. It would help if you started putting what you’ve learned about health into practice. You can do this by reading about health or watching videos and talking to people who have been there before you. Information-hungry people don’t put their knowledge into practice, so they become people who don’t follow through on what they know and don’t become people who use their knowledge. To use the principles you’ve learned daily, you must start now and keep going. You won’t know what works and what doesn’t if you don’t try.

  1. Repeat steps one, two, and three

Remember that there is no one way to lose weight, improve your health, or get what you want. Learning and arguing with what you’ve read is essential for being a person.

Continue to learn about health, keep reading, and keep applying what you’ve learned and what you’ve read to your life. Starting now, you can figure out which things will and won’t work for you. Remind yourself this is about you, not me or the other guy. Do what will help you reach your weight loss goals or stay healthy! If you think some fitness principles sound so controversial that you think they can’t work, then this might be about them being used. Another one of my favorite sayings is “believe nothing I say, but I challenge you to show me that I am wrong.” People should try it. That’s what I want.

My weight loss journey began when I read one book and preached the principles as if they were gospel. In the end, I was told to “shut up” and read something else. I took it upon myself to learn about health and weight loss. Every day, I started to use the new information that I knew. I found people who had used the information before and what they thought about it, what worked for them when it came to their health, and then I found out what worked for me.

  1. Never give up.

It never stops. The following 30 to 50 years of your life are a long time. If you get off track a few days, what does that mean? Take it easy for a while. Keep learning and try new things. Go back to what worked when it did work and keep up with your daily fitness routine. One of the most important things about exercise or fitness is that our bodies were made to move, but we haven’t moved as much as we should. We need to do something every day to work out our bodies.
